Is an International Headship in your future? You can develop the skills you need at the annual New & Aspiring Heads Institute.
This event brings both new and aspiring Heads together to learn how the process of securing a position as an International School Head works; what the most essential skills to focus on are as a school Head; how the Headship is different from the Principalship; what to do in the first 100 days; and what the most common pitfalls are for a new school Head. The course is a 2 1/2-day immersive experience.
The New and Aspiring Heads Institute will take place in the cosmopolitan and internationally diverse city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The focus of the Institute will be for new and aspiring international school leaders to come together and learn through rich professional development sessions led by experienced International School Heads. Spouses/partners are welcome to attend with opportunities to come together and discuss the international school leadership experience. AISH is not able to offer a partner strand and children are the parental responsibility. The city of Vancouver and surrounding area promises to provide opportunity for exploration and adventure. More information will be available in coming months.
Facilitators
A team of experienced International School Heads + Jeff Paulson, AISH CEO. More information available about instructors and programs in coming months.
