Scholarship Fund

Dedicated to honour Heads of School who consistently contributed to moving the AISH organization forward.

 

Current honourees:

David Tully, past AISH Board Chair, respected for his visionary perspectives, his emphasis on balancing the professional and personal lives of Heads, and his “Brandy moment” of reflection.

Emma Gutierrez, long-serving AISH Board member, respected for her critical thinking and “Devil’s Advocate” comments, her attention to detail and thoroughness.

More honourees may be added if the AISH Board sees merit.

The Award: Fully-funded attendance to the Summer Seminar awarded to one applicant per year, based on nomination/application by March 30th. Financial support to include seminar registration fees, accommodation and reimbursement of the cost of flights.

Donations to this fund are solicited in memory of specific honourees or to the fund in general. The fund for this scholarship will be established and maintained separately from the operating budget of AISH. Should insufficient funds be available from contributions to secure an annual scholarship, support from the AISH operating budget will be provided.

Eligibility: Active AISH members wishing to attend the Summer Seminar.

Selection Criteria:

  • Applicant is a current school Head
  • Application demonstrates engagement in the Mission & Vision of the organization and a commitment to participation in the community of international school leaders.
  • Application demonstrates commitment to continued learning and development in the applicant’s leadership role.

Funding: The ability to annually offer this scholarship is totally reliant on donations from its members and supporting organizations which are tax deductible. Your support and ongoing commitment to this fund would be greatly appreciated.
